The Historic Newborn Schoolhouse, built in 1924, features an auditorium seating 200, a full kitchen and dining room for 55 (can be 75). Ample parking and handicap accessible! The original wooden floors, ceilings and stage create a wonderful acoustic space. One of the few remaining examples of this era schools, it is owned by the town and operated by a 501(c)(3) volunteer group of citizens who labor tirelessly to hold festivals, improve the Schoolroom Museum, and market it.
