  Town of Newborn Georgia

UNIQUE - HISTORIC - AFFORDABLE

The Historic Newborn Schoolhouse, built in 1924, features an auditorium seating 100, a full kitchen and dining room for 55 (can be 75).  Ample parking and handicap accessible!  The original wooden floors, ceilings and stage create a wonderful acoustic space.

One of the few remaining examples of this era school, it is owned by the town and operated by a 501(c)(3) volunteer group of citizens who labor tirelessly to hold festivals, improve the Schoolroom Museum, and market it.

Rentals

Special note during pandemic:  Rentals are available if the renter abides by whatever current guidelines are in place.  (smaller groups, masks required, distancing).  If you would like to reserve the facility you must pay the deposit to secure it, but deposits are completely refundable because things are not normal right now, and safety is more important than rental fees.
Ideal for family reunions, showers, rehearsal dinners, even business meetings and homeschool performances.  Learn more here.

Weddings

The Historic Newborn Schoolhouse is a unique and beautiful wedding venue offering a range of prices and services customized to your needs.  Learn more here.
